Of course this is the exact opposite tactic to the one you used to get him in the first place. So, instead of taking you in his arms, he pulls farther away. He will be thinking that maybe he should not have taken you for granted after all. He will also have the same feelings you were having. Your ex will feel that if he does not act fast to get you back, you will find someone else.

Now, you seem to be unattainable to him again and he will be challenged to get you back. Just do not be too easy for him to catch.
